Chief Executive

Tina Renshaw

Graduating from Oxford University, Tina’s career spans teaching in comprehensive schools and leading national and local teacher recruitment programs before moving to Sydney, Australia. Tina worked for the last eight years at one the largest vocational education and training providers in the southern hemisphere, TAFE NSW - Sydney TAFE in senior management roles.

Deputy Chief Executive Officer

Elaine Rudduck

M.A. Educated, Elaine joined ESB in 2013. She has over 20 years’ experience within the teaching and learning sector. She has spent 13 years working on high-stake projects within Awarding Organisations. Passionate about oral communication, she believes ESB provides engagement for all.

Business Development Manager

Mark Wynne

Mark is a business development professional who has 28 years’ experience working in the education and financial services sectors. Communication is important to his role and he enjoys working for ESB as they specialise in promoting this ability to learners in the domestic and international marketplace. 

Customer Experience Manager

Sheena Singleton

Married mother of one daughter, Sheena has worked continually in busy office environments, both within the financial service industry and manufacturing and joined ESB in September 2010.  Sheena is proud that ESB makes the English language available to everybody and is a fully inclusive charity. 

Communications/HR Manager

Fiona Rushton

A qualified journalist, Fiona spent 18 years managing ITV’s Press Office, Picture Desk & Viewers’ Call Centre and 10 years as HR/Marketing Manager & LAMDA teacher for Lamont Drama School & Casting Agency. ESB’s ethos of promoting high-quality written & spoken English is both motivational and life-enhancing.

Finance and Premises Manager

Matthew Hannaford

Matthew joined ESB in January 2016. Having worked for an Awarding Organisation for many years Matthew brings valuable experience to ESB. Matthew is CIMA qualified and has always enjoyed working with charitable organisations. The people that work at ESB along with the ethos & values make it a rewarding place to work.

Business Development Advisor Language

Jackie Johnson

Jackie has worked in ESOL for over 20 years both as a teacher and a manager. She has taught learners in private language schools, internationally and in the UK. She believes ESB offers candidates the opportunity to receive recognition for their studies in a positive supportive setting.

Alison Coates

Alison was introduced to ESB at the age of 9 before being re-introduced to 20 years later as a teacher of Speech and Drama. She remains passionate about what ESB can do for students of all abilities, in building confident communicators, and enjoys visiting centres to share the ESB ethos. 

Product Developer

Suzanne McKittrick

Suzanne joined ESB in July 2015. Previously, she taught French and Spanish at secondary schools in Sefton after graduating from Liverpool University. She now works in a team offering a wide range of ESB qualifications suitable for learners in the UK and overseas.

Jacqui Lee

Jacqui joined ESB from a background of account management, administration and event management within the manufacturing and servicing industries. She likes getting involved in various projects at ESB and enjoys working alongside people who care about delivering a great service.

Carlene Cantrill

Carlene joined ESB in 2014 after taking time away from work following the birth of her daughter. She previously worked in bank & retail management and has recruitment & training experience. Carlene is now enjoying working part time with ESB because of the flexibility & diversity within the role.

Rebecca Watson

Rebecca joined ESB in 2015 after graduating from Bangor University with a B.A. English in July 2014. This is her first full time position, having previously worked part time in the retail industry. For her, the best part of working at ESB is seeing the difference it makes in people’s lives across the world.

Leoni Stanton

Leoni joined ESB in 2015 having graduated from Leeds Beckett University in July of the same year. Previously from an events, hospitality and dental background, this is her first full time position. Leoni’s favourite part of working for ESB is seeing how committed the staff are to delivering exceptional services around the world.

Debbie Bassett

Debbie joined ESB in 2016 after graduating from the University of Manchester with an MA in Literature. Her previous job roles varied from hospitality and events to research and editorial work. She believes in ESB’s philosophy that communication is the key to success.
