Our talented Winter Season Creative Writing Competition winners recently received their certificates and prizes from ESB’s Chief Executive Tina Renshaw.
Winner was Chloé Jones (pictured left) from Polegate Primary School in Polegate, East Sussex. Our two runners up were Mehzabin Mahbub from Sir William Burrough Primary School in Tower Hamlets, London and Sophie O’Hara from Micklefield School in Reigate, Surrey.
Said Tina: “Chloe, Mehzabin and Sophie submitted superb entries into our Winter Season Creative Writing Competition. The standard from everyone was very high so they did extremely well and were very worthy winners. I hope they will continue their creative writing for many years to come and develop their considerable talents.”
Chloé’s mum, Francoise Kenyon, said: “Many thanks for the lovely letter from Tina which we will treasure along with Chloé’s certificate. Chloé absolutely loved doing her poem for the competition and was even more thrilled when she heard the results! She is delighted with her book token as she has such a passion for reading and devours books in days so you chose the perfect prize!”
Sir Williams Burrough School Headteacher Avril Newman, added: “Mehzabin was absolutely thrilled to receive her book tokens and certificate. We are very proud of her.”
ESB would like to congratulate its winners, as well as all the learners who took part in our Winter Season Creative Writing Competition.
