The main activities of this leadership role:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n- To play a leadership role with English Speaking Board (International) Ltd. to achieve the business strategy for the delivery of an outstanding customer experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Developing a team with outstanding customer service skills across ESB\u2019s entire customer base, via our Digital, CRM, Email, Telephone, and any other channels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Managing the effectiveness of our bespoke assessment management system in liaison with our IT partners.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Taking responsibility for ESB\u2019s Enquiries, Complaints and Appeals policy and procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- In liaison with the Head of Commercial, contribute to our whole of business Customer Journey focus to ensure our clients are on boarded and retained to achieve revenue targets and maintain our purpose and customer value propositions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

Our assessors come from all walks of life but they share a common goal: to bring out the very best in every learner. From the moment an assessor meets our learners, they offer support and encouragement, showing empathy for each individual\u2019s needs. Their role is central to the ESB International experience. All assessors are trained, standardised and moderated each year,\u202fto make sure that their marking is consistent and that they uphold ESB International\u2019s core values in every session. We provide a supportive assessor community, led by a Senior Assessor.<\/p>\n\n\n\nAs our centres book assessments when they need them, assessments take place throughout the usual academic year however our international centres book according to their academic cycles and time zones. Usually we experience peak periods of assessing before Easter (whenever Easter occurs in the year) and across the months of May, June and July. You must be willing to travel within the UK and Northern Ireland, with overnight stays in some circumstances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This engagement is offered on a self-employed basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You should have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n- A minimum of 3 years recent substantial teaching experience, have a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, DET, or equivalent\u2019 or have QTS) or relevant degree<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
- A current Basic Disclosure\/DBS Clearance (or obtain after selection)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Professional Indemnity Insurance (or obtain after selection)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
