{"id":8856,"date":"2020-12-03T12:52:29","date_gmt":"2020-12-03T12:52:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/esbuk.org\/web\/?p=8856"},"modified":"2020-12-03T12:52:29","modified_gmt":"2020-12-03T12:52:29","slug":"remote-esb-assessments-bringing-out-the-best-in-everyone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/esbuk.org\/index.php\/remote-esb-assessments-bringing-out-the-best-in-everyone\/","title":{"rendered":"Remote ESB assessments &#8211; Bringing out the best in everyone!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/esbuk.org\/web\/app\/uploads\/2020\/12\/67-1024x679.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8858\"\/><figcaption>Year 13 learners at Ellesmere College<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The recent ESB assessment undertaken by members of the Sixth Form at Shropshire\u2019s Ellesmere College is a perfect example of ESB International\u2019s successful delivery of remote, online assessments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Embracing ESB International\u2019s Adapted Assessment, enabling learners to be assessed using our online video conferencing facility, the College was delighted with their learners\u2019 fantastic commitment to completing ESB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Navigating unchartered territory, taking to Teams to complete their ESB Level 3 Certificate in Speech (Grade 8) assessment, the Ellesmere College learners were not phased by the online assessment, showing great resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The English Department at Ellesmere College, with its long and proud history of ESB success in oral communication, says: \u2018Excellent collaboration, confidence and hard work were all on display as Year 13 took to Teams to complete their Grade 8 ESB examination.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-2 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/esbuk.org\/web\/app\/uploads\/2020\/12\/EnijSHOXcAYSdYE-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"8860\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/esbuk.org\/web\/app\/uploads\/2020\/12\/EnijSHOXcAYSdYE-e1606999341751.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/esbuk.org\/web\/?attachment_id=8860\" class=\"wp-image-8860\"\/><\/figure><\/li><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/esbuk.org\/web\/app\/uploads\/2020\/12\/EnijSG_XIAEjbNl-1-1024x786.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"8866\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/esbuk.org\/web\/app\/uploads\/2020\/12\/EnijSG_XIAEjbNl-1.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/esbuk.org\/web\/?attachment_id=8866\" class=\"wp-image-8866\"\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>ESB Assessor Louise Fox was thrilled to witness the exceptional standard of work and was able to build a good rapport with the learners. Louise says, \u2018All learners brought enthusiasm, confidence and commitment on the day. They all did extremely well and there were smiles all round! I would love to meet the learners in person one day!\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As displayed by Ellesmere College, ESB International\u2019s assessments continue to be an enjoyable experience for our learners.
