{"id":8896,"date":"2020-12-14T10:10:56","date_gmt":"2020-12-14T10:10:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/esbuk.org\/web\/?p=8896"},"modified":"2020-12-14T10:10:56","modified_gmt":"2020-12-14T10:10:56","slug":"esb-shows-flexibility-with-another-successful-online-assessment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/esbuk.org\/index.php\/esb-shows-flexibility-with-another-successful-online-assessment\/","title":{"rendered":"ESB SHOWS FLEXIBILITY WITH ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL ONLINE ASSESSMENT"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/esbuk.org\/web\/app\/uploads\/2020\/12\/OLD-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8906\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>ESB continues to keep learners achieving with its delivery of online assessments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During a recent online assessment at&nbsp;Shropshire\u2019s Old Hall School, all learners were in high spirits at the prospect of this new experience and displayed great enthusiasm during&nbsp;their ESB\u2019s&nbsp;Entry Level Award in Speech (Entry 2).&nbsp;<br><br>One learner, unable&nbsp;to attend the assessment on the day, was given the opportunity to&nbsp;present his talk at a later date to ESB assessors &#8211; Sunil Naphray &#8211; demonstrating our flexibility during this pandemic.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>James Thorpe,&nbsp;the Director&nbsp;of Music&nbsp;at the Old Hall School says: \u2018All of the children came out of the exam beaming and talking about how much they enjoyed the experience which is exactly what we hope for. The children were outstanding and coped really well with the adaptive assessment via Google Meets. Equally so, the supporting staff were tremendous and worked extremely well with myself to ensure the children had a great experience. The children will continue making great strides in the learning from their ESB.
