English Speaking Board (ESB) has a world-class reputation for producing high-calibre communications qualifications in the UK and throughout the world and we are now expanding our Educational Delivery Team with an Educational Delivery Support Officer. The successful candidate will be given full training and support to integrate into the Team, with a progression plan to eventually become a Product Developer. We have a proven track-record of progressing our employees with a ‘promote from within’ approach.
As Educational Delivery Support Officer, you will work closely with the Educational Delivery team, which includes three departments: Product Development, Quality Assurance, Assessment. You will participate in validity reviews, education-focused research projects, data collection and analysis and support the strategic goals and operational function of each department.
You will need to be a flexible 'can do' person who is an excellent proof reader, with a high-level knowledge, or an interest in developing your knowledge, of Microsoft Office, Publisher programs etc. for exam paper production. You will have excellent English language skills, attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines within a dynamic customer-focused department. Educational Delivery Team members need to communicate effectively and build positive relationships internally and externally. It’s a fast moving, exciting environment!
We would be particularly pleased to hear from anyone who has studied for a degree in Education, English Language or Linguistics.
The post is offered as a 12-month contract and may be subject to extension. It is full time (five days a week) and subject to a 6 months’ probationary period. It is based at ESB’s offices in Hattersley Court, Burscough Road, Ormskirk, Lancashire, L39 2AY (flexible working patterns are available) and offers a salary of £18,000 - £21,500 (depending on experience). We also offer an attractive pension scheme.
