2.6.21: Update to UK centres regarding remote and face-to-face assessment for the rest of the academic yearJun 2, 2021
On March 29th, I wrote to you with an update regarding assessments for UK-based ESOL Skills for Life and Speech qualifications. We have been monitoring the situations both in England and Wales and it was our hope that we would be able to return to 100% face-to-face assessments following the June half-term. However, as Covid-19 cases have begun to rise again, largely due to the new, Indian variant, we will be continuing to offer remote, digital assessments for any ESOL Speaking and Listening and Speech assessments after 7th June, as well as face-to-face assessment if requested and you can ensure a Covid-secure environment.
If you have already booked an assessment after 7th June with the understanding that it will be face-to-face, then this will remain the case.
If you are in any doubt about whether a future booking is face-to-face or digitally remote, please contact the Customer Experience Team on 01695 573439.
I wish all our learners a fantastic assessment experience with ESB and look forward to seeing their achievements after this most difficult year.
